Sacks, Snuggles and Slight Chaos: A Saturday Update from MEOW HQ

Well, y’all… it’s already Saturday.

And honestly? I could use another one. Anybody else? Just me? 😅

I’ve not felt my best today — a mix of “meh” and “please someone bring me a ginger ale.”But you know how it goes… rest isn’t exactly a full-time reality over here.

I’ve been piece-milling through the growing mountain of MEOW goodies taking over every surface of my house. Not a single item is ready to load into the store yet (😬), but we’re so close. Think glitter. Scripture. Encouragement. Think Melissa chaos with a Jesus center.

And y’all… Jackson is SLAP worn out. He says we need a routine again, because this fly-by-night “box in every corner” living isn’t working for his cat naps. He just stared at me today like, “Human. Must. Restore. Order.” 🐾 He hasn’t seen his bed in two weeks. Poor thing.

BUT… boxes everywhere = orders arriving = hope in motion. It’s happening. Little by little. Messy progress is still progress, right? 🙌

And the best part? I spent a good portion of today prepping 10 August MEOW Sacks. Yes, I know… it’s already August…But grace, friends. GRACE. 😅📬 I’ve got 5 claimed and 5 up for grabs. Each one is packed with Bible study resources, a little hope, and a whole lot of “Jesus loves you.” If you want one, just drop a comment or message me and say “Claim!” (I mean, why not finish the month strong?) 💗

Dinner was BBQ ribs and boiled corn tonight, slathered in deliciousness and served up with a side of “We really should’ve made more. "But dessert? Well… that turned into me figuring out I posted our MEOW for Jesus Bible study in the wrong month. 😳 Yep. Instead of posting in “8” (August)… I posted it all in “9” (September). Embarrassed? Yes. Surprised? Not even a little. Good news: I’ve fixed it, and if you’re in that group, you’ll start seeing things post right on time again tomorrow. (Yesterday’s and today’s are already up — pinky promise.)

I’m currently trying to settle my stomach, gather my thoughts, and figure out if church is happening tomorrow. Because right now… I just don’t know. But I do know this: God is still good. Even when the to-do list is endless, even when I feel behind, even when I’m overwhelmed by “real life” stuff swirling in the background…

There’s Jesus in the middle of it all. 🕊️ I saw Him today in the unexpected check-in message from a friend. In the peaceful purrs from Jackson curled up on my arm. In the quiet whisper that said, “You’re doing okay, daughter. Keep going.”

Tonight, I’m praying for calm. I’m praying for answers. And I’m praising God for every single one of you who’s part of this MEOW journey.
