Who Really Runs This House? (Hint: It's Not Me!)

It’s been a few days since I’ve shared here, and let me tell you, it’s been a rough stretch. But today, things finally started looking up, and I’m beginning to see God’s fingerprints scattered through the details. 🙌

I’ve kept up with my Bible Study through it all. Isn’t it amazing how the Lord always drops the right verse right when you need it most? Sometimes it feels like He’s whispering, “Daughter, I’ve got you. Keep going.”

Behind the scenes, I’ve been pouring into the Fall MEOW Box (FIERCE: Feelin’ Fall & Fabulous) and the September MEOW Sacks. And y’all… I can’t wait for you to see them. It’s like each box is its own little sermon wrapped in tissue paper. Curious what’s inside? Well, you’ll just have to grab one before they’re gone. 😉

Oakie’s been my little sidekick here and there — joining me for Bible Study, stirring up kitchen adventures, and keeping me laughing.

And then there’s the cat committee. Let’s be honest ... they’re the real bosses around here:

• Jackson keeps us all in line with his strict house rules. (If he had a clipboard, we’d all be in trouble.)

• Whiskie Marie struts around like the crown princess, making sure she’s always the center of attention.

• Felix, the big brother, sits back with his wise old eyes, pretending he’s above the chaos (but you know he’s watching every move).

• And Tipper ... oh, tiny but mighty Tipper. The oldest, the calico queen, bossy and a little hissy when someone forgets she runs the place.

  
  

They crack me up daily, but they also remind me of something deeper: God cares about the smallest details. If He gave cats this much personality, just imagine how much thought He’s put into us. 🐾✨

So, while not every day has been easy, today was a good one. From broccoli on my plate (y’all know I LOVE broccoli 🥦), sunshine on my face, and Jesus anchoring my heart, I’m ending this day curious about what tomorrow will hold — because if God can turn my 2s into 6s, what could He do with a 10?

Here’s to broccoli, blessings, and a house full of sass and purrs — all under the watchful eye of Jesus.
