✨ Wait... Did I Forget to Eat?! (But My Soul is So Full!)

Man oh man,

whew!

Ever have one of those days where you blink and suddenly it’s 8:00 PM and you realize…“Wait a minute, did I even eat lunch?” 🙃Yeah. That was me today.

But you know what? I might’ve skipped the sandwich, but my soul got FED. 💕

The day started just the way I love it!

💛 Quiet house.

📖 Open Bible and Jesus beside me!

👫 Then Kevin and I did our Bible study together!

And Jesus right in the middle of it all.

We dove into the Word together, and whew, God showed up like He always does.

Something about that early morning stillness just feels like a holy hush from Heaven.

After that, I dove into some work. I had a few things that needed to get done, and it felt so good to check those boxes. (You know that feeling when you finally finish the thing you've been avoiding? Yep. That was me today. Victory dance and all.) 💃📋✔️

Then came time to escape from the house for a little while! I went and spent some time with Cynthia. 💗You know those friendships that just fill your heart back up? We didn’t solve the world’s problems, but we sure did laugh, share, and tried some new drink mix concoctions. Sometimes, sisterhood is the sacred pause God gives us right in the middle of the chaos. It was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

Then it was back to the house, apron on, spatula in hand. Dinner got made (and y’all—it wasn’t takeout, so that’s a win)!

Then it was time for my Rise-Up coaching group (YES LORD! 🙌), followed by Book Club (we’re deep in a good one right now, remind me to tell you about it later), and finally...Here I am. With you. 🥰

My feet are tired.

My brain is full.

My to-do list has both checks and scribbles.

But my heart? It’s overflowing.

Even in the busy… I saw Him.

In the pages of scripture.

In Kevin’s smile.

In Cynthia’s encouragement.

In the laughter that bubbled up over nothing and everything.

In the deep breath of this very moment right here.

And sure… I may have forgotten lunch. But God didn’t forget me. And He didn’t forget you either.
